Receding Contact Problem of Multi-Layered Elastic Structures Involving Functionally Graded Materials

چکیده

This paper studies a receding contact problem of functionally graded layer laminate pressed against coated homogeneous half-plane substrate by rigid flat indenter. The shear modulus the materials with constant Poisson’s ratio is modeled an exponential function which varies along thickness direction. Both governing equations and boundary conditions are converted into pair singular integral using Fourier transforms, numerically integrated Chebyshev–Gauss quadrature. pressure size at both interfaces eventually obtained iteratively, as developed from steepest descent algorithm. Extensive parametric suggest that it possible to regulate constructing top soft material.
